This is just an example website showcasing my take on what a simple yet visually pleasing and functional personal celebrity-style site could look like. I chose Lucy as the subject of this template since I'm a fan of her most famous TV show, the series "Xena: Warrior Princess", and I've watched a lot of it recently. And she's quite a person otherwise as well, active in charity work and so on.
The site is semi-functional for demonstration purposes. It does feature fully functional navigation including the menu/submenu system and the "breadcrumb"-style menu on the top of this text area. This makes for easy and intuitive navigation. In addition, I've added some basic content on most of the sections, or links to places where you can find such content.
Technologies used on this site are XHTML 1.0, CSS, PHP and JavaScript, with Plogger used for the image galleries. It should work on just about all modern browsers, and personally I've tested it on Internet Explorer 6, Mozilla Firefox 1.02 & 1.07 & 1.5 and Opera 8.0 & 8.51 (with Opera the navigation menu's transparency doesn't work though, and with IE the submenus need JavaScript to work).
Original non-edited headline graphics as well as the original non-edited photos of Lucy throughout the site are taken from the official Lucy Lawless site (except Xena screenshots).
